Q. How affordable is Altus Dental?
A. To help ensure that everyone has access to preventive coverage, Altus Dental has designed three dental plans - Altus Point of Service (POS), Altus Plus and Altus Preferred - with flexible coinsurance, annual maximums and deductible options to reduce costs. For a small monthly cost, you can offer a dental plan that covers preventive care at 100%, plus 50% coverage for services like fillings, root canals and routine oral surgery.

Q. What types of benefits will members have?
A. Plans will typically be organized by type of coverage (Preventive, Minor Restorative, Major Restorative, Orthodontics). Take a look at our sample plan options.

Q. What kind of network do you have?
A. Our network design lets members choose their own dentist with no gatekeeper requirements or specialty referrals.

The Altus Dental network of local participating dentists has grown county by county into the largest Preferred Provider Organization in southeastern New England. Your employees' dentists may have already signed up to be a part of this exciting new plan (check our up-to-the-minute database here ). Network development is a top priority and we're aggressively recruiting new dentists daily. As new members join we work to recruit their dentists if they are not already in our network.

Altus Dental also provides access to a national network of more than 51,000 dentists through the CONNECTION Dental network. This network offers the same benefits as our local network: instant ID card recognition, simplicity, flexibility and cost containment. There's no balance billing, no up-front payments or waiting for reimbursements. You can also find a dentist in the national network by checking our database.
